Precise blade overlap provides a thorough cut. These 43 oz hammers can pulverize brush and saplings up to 4 inches thick.
The 5” provides exceptional strength and stability, ensuring smooth operation even under heavy loads. This robust design minimizes vibrations and enhances the mower’s cutting efficiency. It’s ideal for handling tough mowing conditions and extending the equipment’s lifespan.
These machines have multiple drive belts to ensure a smooth transfer of power from the gearbox to the blade shaft to maintain speed and eliminate damaging vibration.
These machines are equipped with a clump buster attached to the interior of the housing. This prevents clumps of cut grass from getting through the mower without being pulverized by diminishing the space between the blades and the housing, allowing the blades to fully process the material being cut.
The AGF series is compatible with a Category 2 tractor’s 3-point hitch.
The PTO shaft is included with purchase of machine. These machines come with an 110cm (43 inch) PTO shaft fully collapsed. AGF series comes with a Series 05 PTO shaft, shear bolt is 3/8 bolt, 2.5 inches long, Grade 5

Experience the power and precision of the Ditch Bank Flail Mower, a heavy-duty choice to tackle heavy brush, including grasses, trash, sticks, vines, branches, and other wooded material up to 4 inches in diameter. The mower head, hydraulically mounted on an arm, will swing up to 90 degrees for hedge or hillside mowing or down 55 degrees for ditch or bank mowing, offering versatility in a broad spectrum of applications.
When mounted on the optional 4-way hydraulic control valve with hydraulic float, this flail mower follows the contours of the ground for an even and smooth cut. In contrast to the throw-the-grass style of mowers, the flail mower slices the grass thinly and drops the clippings on the ground, making it perfect for sensitive environments where clippings would be damaging. It is because of this that the Ditch Bank Flail Mower is a hit with highway mowing and park maintenance, as it minimizes the risk of object throwing when mowing.

FLOAT AND NON-FLOAT CONTROLLER DESCRIPTION: The Float controller performs two functions. First, if your tractor has only a single remote hydraulic port (2 hoses) you can use the float control as a splitter. 4 machine hoses connect to the controller and the controller gets its power from your tractor’s single port. You can place the control in place of the tractor’s driver seat. Other job that this controller will perform is that you can mount the tilt cylinder in float port, and the mower will follow behind bumps in ground.
Splitter function and float function float controller can perform both.
For non-float controller, there will be no ability to use as a splitter function.

Blade Type: The Farmer-Helper AGF series uses a heavy-duty hammer blade. Each hammer blade weighs 2lbs 12 oz made of cast steel (cast steel is much more durable than cast iron). Use the hammer blades for clearing saplings (4″ diameter or less) and for grasses.
Number of Blades: The Farmer-Helper AGF series uses 12 – 16 hammer blades depending on the size of the unit.
Precision Blade Overlap: On the Farmer-Helper AGF series the blades are staggered precisely with no gap in the mowing area. Blade overlap is important to achieve an even cutting result.
Rotor Rotation – Reverse: The rotor spins in the opposite direction as the wheels of the tractor when traveling forward. This allows the blades to shear the material as it is folded forward by the mowers. The material is then thrown up and over the rotor.
Rotor Tube Diameter: 5″ – Heavy-duty steel tubing for long life.
Balanced Rotor Tube: The rotor tube is balanced to reduce vibration and ensures that the mower runs smooth, and reduces wear on the bearings.
Hitch Type: Category 2 standard 3-point.
Pivot Offset From Center Mount: This feature allows for an offset from the center to the right of the tractor. This feature is helpful for mowing around fences, buildings; walkways, etc. From the center of the PTO, the mower extends 68″ to 84″ depending on the size of the unit.
Hydraulic Offset: The hydraulic cylinder permits the carrier frame to be moved under your command. This permits you to control the cutting position of the mower. Designed so that you can get around rows, trees, fence lines, or whatever else is in your path. This is connected to a Remote Hydraulic designed to power the cylinder (also known as a 2-way valve) or the rear remote on your tractor design to power the cylinder. Hydraulic Requirements: Hydraulic sources must be constant flow for powering Control Valve. We recommend the use of Front Loader Style Control Valve with Float Option. Float spool connected to the vertical pivoting cylinder will allow the mower to float and naturally follow the ground contour.
