Hydraulic adjustment for this machine allows you to center the machine behind your tractor or extend it past your tractor’s tires to reach near obstacles.
These machines have multiple drive belts to ensure a smooth transfer of power from the gearbox to the blade shaft to maintain speed and eliminate damaging vibration.
These side skids help prevent the mower from scalping the ground and are also used to adjust the cutting height of the mower.
Bearings are easily accessed for greasing and zerks are shielded from damage.
This machine has 3 adjustment settings for the Skid plates and 5 for the Rear Roller.
The tapered ends of the roller prevent scalping while turning, the side skids assist with this too. The mud scraper prevents buildup of mud or grass from building up.

“It is possible to use a very heavy mulching flail on a sub-compact tractor. What I commonly call a riding lawn mower on steroids. It actually worked very well. The only issue was when going up a steep hill I had to put weight in the front loader bucket so I could steer. About a 6% grade hill”.

Precision Blade Overlap: On the Farmer-Helper D series the blades are staggered precisely with no gap in the mowing area. Blade overlap is important to achieve an even cutting result.
Rotor Rotation – Reverse: The rotor spins in the opposite direction as the wheels of the tractor when traveling forward. This allows the blades to shear the material as it is folded forward by the mowers. The material is then thrown up and over the rotor.
