The Farmer-Helper DW30 Drop-Feed Chipper is a inexpensive, efficient method of clearing branches and trimmings up to 6 inches in diameter. This lightweight chipper features adjustable kick-back protection screen and easy blade change for easy maintenance. The wide 6″ x 9″ chipper feed reduces trimming, and the rugged drop-feed design lets gravity and the machine push brushy material through the vertically-sloped feed chute.
360-degree swivel discharge provides controlled chip direction, with two double-edge chipper knives and an internal air impeller system inside the drum for effective chipping. Speed-up gear powers the rotor drum by 2 pulleys and double V-belts, placing the DW30 in position for homeowners, rental yards, orchards, and landscapers.

The DW-30 chipper and Bestsco have been great so far.
Following the assembly and initial setup instructions takes time but is well worth it for best performance. A manufacturing defect was found during the process, but Bestsco was great to deal with and sent a replacement part right away with no hassle.
The chipper will pull in and chip long branches with leaves and all, even the smaller rakings and walnut fruits. My tractor has about 30 HP at the PTO, it will do full 6" diameter pieces under 2' length without much bogging down. I haven't had anything plug up the discharge chute yet. Basically... if it fits, it chips.
The FH-DW30 is by far the best chipper Betstco sells. I have owned the disc type chipper BX42 it worked great on woody material but clogged on stringy material. The FH-DW30 works great on all materials. I live on the island of Maui and I have mostly palm species on my property. I have not had to deal with a single clog yet. Don't be fooled by autofeed types either they clog too. Drum type is the only way to go. Mahalo Betstco. Aloha.
